🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 2 servings of jjolmyeon noodles
  • 1/2 cucumber (julienned)
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • A small amount of cabbage (optional, thinly sliced)
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • 1/4 cup water

🍳 How to Make It

1️⃣ Boil the Jjolmyeon Noodles

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the jjolmyeon noodles. Cook for about 3–4 minutes.
  2. Once the noodles are done, rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process and drain well. Toss the noodles with 1 tsp of sesame oil to keep them chewy and prevent sticking.

  1. Slice the cucumber into thin strips.
  2. Cut the boiled eggs in half.
  3. If using cabbage or other vegetables, slice them thinly.
