🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 200g pork shoulder or pork belly (sliced thinly)
  • 1/2 onion (sliced)
  • 1 stalk green onion (sliced diagonally)
  • 1 green chili (optional, for extra spice)
  • 2 servings of steamed rice

For the Marinade:

  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Pork

  1. Slice the pork into thin strips (about 0.5 cm thick).
  2. Slice the onion, green onion, and green chili (if using) for garnish.

2️⃣ Make the Marinade

  1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, sugar, and minced garlic together.
  2. Add the water and sesame oil to create the marinade.

3️⃣ Cook the Pork

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and green onion and sauté until the onions become translucent.
  2. Add the sliced pork to the pan and stir-fry until it is partially cooked.
  3. Pour the marinade over the pork and stir everything together. Let it cook for a few minutes until the pork is fully cooked and the sauce thickens.
  4. If desired, add green chili for extra spice.

  1. Place the cooked pork on top of a bowl of rice.
  2. Garnish with extra green onion and chili for a pop of color and flavor.
