🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2)
✔️ 200g spaghetti
✔️ 100g bacon (or shrimp, chicken, etc.)
✔️ 1/2 onion
✔️ 3–4 cloves garlic
✔️ 1 tbsp butter
✔️ 1 cup (200ml) milk
✔️ 1 cup (200ml) heavy cream
✔️ 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
✔️ Salt & pepper to taste
✔️ 1 tbsp olive oil
🍳 How to Make Creamy Pasta
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta
- Boil plenty of water in a pot and add 1 tbsp of salt.
- Add the spaghetti and cook 1 minute less than the package instructions for a perfect al dente texture.
- Drain the pasta and toss it with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.
2️⃣ Prepare and Sauté the Ingredients
- Chop the bacon into bite-sized pieces, and slice the onion and garlic thinly.
- Heat a pan over medium-low heat, add 1 tbsp butter and olive oil, then sauté the garlic until fragrant.
- Once the garlic is aromatic, add the onion and bacon and cook until they turn golden brown.
3️⃣ Make the Cream Sauce
- Pour in the milk and heavy cream, stirring gently over medium-low heat.
- Add 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese for an extra depth of flavor.
- Season with salt and pepper, and let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
4️⃣ Combine the Pasta and Sauce
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss well over low heat.
- Let it cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce coats the pasta perfectly.
5️⃣ Plating & Final Touches!
- Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with parsley or extra cheese for garnish.
